One of the most striking additions during the Strand-Capitol's recent renovation is the room with three grand arched windows overlooking Philadelphia Street – which has become known as The Studio. The room is perfectly suited for small musical acts or soloists to perform for the public in a small, intimate yet stylized setting,

During "First Fridays" in downtown York, (the first Friday of every month) the Studio at the Strand will feature regional musicians from 8:00 - 10:30pm in a smoke-free environment, complete with a full-service beverage bar in a unique setting. Relax and enjoy a variety of musical styles for a nominal $8 cover charge: acoustic, jazz, folk, instrumental, vocal and light rock, before or after dinner.
